SMS Technology’s Process History tool is a digital platform designed to completely replace paper job cards and history cards on the manufacturing shop floor. It digitises the entire assembly and inspection sequence into live, actionable manufacturing data.

The platform follows a core five-step framework:

Build

Users create custom, controlled electronic forms for End of Line, dispatch, ad-hoc tracking, and faults using diverse inputs like barcode scanning and geolocation. Users have full control over the version level of their documentation and a log of any changes made. They can manage document access seamlessly with different user access levels.

Operators input inspection data via mobile apps (iOS/Android) or web browsers, operating fully in both online and offline factory zones ensuring continutity of operations even in low/no connectivity areas. Analyse Captured data using a variety of reporting methods -tables, bar/pie charts, indicators and more. Users can automate email alerts for critical information as soon as the data enters the system.

Train

Built-in long-form and bite-sized videos ensure operators learn process updates independently on the shop floor. The training videos can be watched in your own time and the SMS Technology team are available to guide and clarify any uncertainty around the technology but it is very user friendly.
